Rosalyn (Rocky Kay Jones) Goddard 64 of Beaver Falls, PA affectionately known as “Granny” in Lexington, KY was called to rest with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31,2021 at Heritage Valley Hospital, Beaver, PA.
Born on November 14, 1956 to Marcia Brooks, and Charles Lott, Rocky Kay was also loved by her stepfather Willie Brooks. She was the fourth of seven children. She was raised on Mt Washington and also lived in Harmony Dwellings and Pleasant View.
Rocky Kay graduated from Beaver Falls Senior High School and attended Geneva College. She was blessed to be able to travel the world with the United States Army. She was a Head Cook (KP) in the Chow Hall. She enjoyed serving meals to the soldiers, but her favorite pastimes were was playing bingo, the lotto, and she was an amazing spades and dominoes player. She loved her family dearly. Her smile would light up a room. No matter where she was in the United States you would know where she was from …. She was a DIE-HARD Steelers fan.
In addition to her father, Rocky Kay was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Goddard, two brothers Gary & Bernard Jones and one sister Harriet (Butter Cup) Jones and three grandchildren Trevon Rancher, Michael Jones and Najee Turner.
Rocky Kay is survived by 4 children, three daughters: Charmeairria Harris and Charmaine Jones, Lexington, KY and Carla McHenry, Houston, TX,; and one son: Cameron Widget, Dallas TX; nine grandchildren: Kenneth (Emerald) Jones, Lexington KY, Delincia Jones, Houston, TX, Antanette Jones, Marietta, GA, Javontay Jones, Lexington, KY, Elijah Jones, Beaver Falls, PA, Victor Strong, Lexington, KY, Tavye, Rian, and Tre’Michael McHenry, Houston, TX; nine great grandchildren; her mother and stepfather: Marcia Brooks and Willie Brooks, Lexington, KY; three siblings from Lexington, KY: Marcille Jones, Shirley Hawkins, and Joseph (Judy) Jones. She leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends she loved and adored.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Second Baptist Church, 2322-10th Avenue, Beaver Falls, with Rev. Bernard E. Tench, Jr. officiating.
