Paul James Wolf

Paul James Wolf, 64, of Beaver Falls. Son of Ray and Sandy Wolf passed away at Heritage Valley Beaver, PA on October 6th, 2023. Paul was born on September 18, 1959, in McKees Rocks, PA.

Paul is survived by his Loving wife Diane Wolf. Son: Terry Wolf. Grand-daughter: Ciara Wolf. Mother: Sandy Wolf. Brother: Ray Wolf and Sisters: Shelly and Brandy Wolf. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Due to Paul’s wishes there will be no services.

Sheila Marie Thomas

Sheila Marie Thomas 61 of Beaver Falls, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 5th, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
Born 1/31/1962 to the late Otho Thomas and Mary (Williford) Thomas.

Everyone who knew Sheila knew her heart. She was very loved in her community by both the young and old. She had the best sense of humor, helped those she could in any way she could,
and lived her life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She was proceeded in death by her sister Cynthia (Williford) Tolbert.

She left behind two children Shamara Daniels (Keishjuan) and Raevon Coley. Surviving siblings Loretta Williford Smith of New Brighton, PA, Patty Elazier of Denver Colorado, Peggy (Edmonds) Dreher of Sacramento, CA, Mary Denise Thomas of Detroit MIchigan and Leon (Brenda) Thomas of New Brighton, PA. Four grandchildren Denija Irving, Mandel Irving Jr., Daeauja Irving, Zayonna Doucet and her great grandson De’Nylin Irving all in Seattle,WA. She also left behind a host of neices and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2023 12pm until 2:00pm followed by a homegoing service at Washington Funeral Home and Cremation, 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA. Regina Washington, Supervisor.

Vivian Jones Kirkland

Vivian Jones Kirkland transitioned from labor to reward on September 29, 2023. She was born on February 11, 1935 to the late Jimmie and Emma (Powell) Jones in Aliquippa, PA.

Vivian was a 1953 graduate or Aliquippa School District. Vivian graduated from the Pittsburgh Training School. Vivian was employed in 1955 at the Bureau of Elections. Vivian was the first female and African American Director before retiring in 1999.

Vivian married Jackson Kirkland in 1958. They were the parents of one daughter. Vivian accepted Jesus Christ as het Lord and Savior at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Aliquippa. Once moving to Beaver Falls, she joined Second Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and Usher. She was a graduate of Harty Bible School. 

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie and Emma Jones, Bartow and Lillie Tipper, Fred and Ira Mae Johnson; siblings Dorothy Jones, Howard Jones, Robert Tipper and Edward Jones.

She will be remembered fondly by her daughter Karen Kirkland, sisters Grace Tipper King, Gerline Johnson Young; Brothers Leroy Johnson, Harold Johnson; Sisters in law Mae Ruth Johnson, Hattie Kirkland, Ethel Truss; Brother in law John Chuckie Kirkland, Sr.

Viewing will be on Friday October 6th from 4-8pm. Homegoing celebration Saturday October 7th at 11am. Both will be held at Second Baptist Church 2322 10th Avenue Beaver Falls. Arrangements are entrusted to Washington Funeral Homes & Cremations 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls.
