Stephen Stuck

Stephen Michael Stuck, 57, Beaver Falls, passed away in his home unexpectedly on March 12th, 2019. He was born September 17th, 1961 in Beaver Falls, Pa to the late Robert Stuck and Majorie Stuck (Schultz).

Stephen was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, uncle, and friend and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Steve had a passion for older cars and enjoyed working on them with his sons, brother, and cousins.

Stephen was proceeded in death by his parents and sisters Darlene Schultz and Shirl (Bensing) Lloyd.

Stephen is survived by his sister Wanda Fuhr (Stuck) and his brothers Robert R. Stuck Jr. (Jill) and Mark Stuck, as well as his sons, Stephen Plum, Brian and Jason Adkins, Scott Wooley, and his daughters Jamie Adkins and Angela Wooley. Grandchildren Brian Jr., Brianna, Caydence, Braedyn, Brittain, Kendall, Nakirah, Torian, MacKenzie, Alissa, and Dylan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitations will be held on Monday, March 18th from 5pm to 7pm and Tuesday, March 19th at 10am followed by a 11am services at Washington Funeral Home & Cremations 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa., Regina Washington, Supervisor.

Mary Louise Riggins Jones

Mary Louise Riggins Jones 70, was called to reside in her heavenly home on Thursday March 7th, 2019 in Heritage Valley Medical Center, Beaver, PA. Mary was born on May 2, 1948 to the late Harold and Emma Mae Riggins Dawson.

Mary was a longtime resident of Beaver Falls and a very faithful member of the Church of Our Savior and the Love Hope Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, member in the Choir, Liturgical dancer and church clerk. She also was the secretary to the Beaver Area AUBA.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Robert Jones of 21 years; Son: Larry Troy Mitchell, Conway SC; Grandchildren: Falyn Destinde Donaldson; Waldorf, MD; LaNijha Toryea Mitchell, New Brighton, PA; and Kayon Angelo Mitchell, Conway, SC.; Step-Children: Marlene Jones, Charlotte, NC, Charley Jones, Oil City, PA; Sisters, Odell Thomas, Detroit MI and Shirley Randall, Prince George, VA and Loretta Jefferson, Beaver Falls, PA ; 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren; Devoted Friends and Sister-in-law, Bea Harris and Mary Jane Jones Gilliam and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Bridgeville, PA

A viewing will be held Monday, March 11, from 4pm – 8pm at Love Hope Baptist Church, 400 Wayne Avenue, Ellwood City, PA. where the service to celebrate her life will be Tuesday, March 12 at 1pm.

George Crawford

George W. Crawford, 73, of Beaver Falls, Pa., peacefully answered the promised call from our Lord & Savior, March 6, 2019, with loving family members at his bedside. Born December 21, 1945, to the late Clyde J. Crawford Sr. and Evelyn Gould Crawford, White Twp., Beaver Falls.

George was number “eleven” (11) of twelve (12) (2nd from the youngest). George was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam Conflict. He was also active in the Army Reserves. George was a former employee of Townsends Foundry, Fallston, Pa. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler, loving all three.

George was preceded in death by five brothers, Clyde Jr., Arthur Sr., Benjamin Sr., David, and Charlie Crawford, and two sisters, Patricia and Mildred.

George leaves to morn his earthly departure, his wife Charlene; daughter, Brooke, and his so loved granddaughter, Nadiyah; one brother, Aaron Crawford, Beaver Falls; two sisters, Carol Kelcivic, Beaver Falls and Mary Showinstien of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He also leaves to mourn his sudden departure, two devoted friends for numerous years, Ms. Margaret “Peggy” Cox, and Leonard Newman, Beaver Falls, Pa., and a host of other family and friends all over.

George will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville PA.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday March 16, 2019, from 11 a.m. until the funeral services with full Military Honors to be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the WASHINGTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa. 15010.

Richard E. Burton, Jr.

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Richard Edward Burton, Jr. (Richie), age 41, our most beloved son, brother, father, uncle, family member and friend peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

A graduate of Rochester Area High School, Richie was a member of the 1992 WPIAL football championship team. And was a standout shooting guard on the 1994, 1995 basketball teams, leading the Rams to the playoffs two consecutive years. Thereafter, he attended Cheney University.

Those who knew Richie, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. His cheerful spirit and endearing grin lit up a room. He leaves us smiling through the tears. Richie will forever be remembered for his gentle ways and kindness toward others. He had a profound love for his family, and cherished time spent together. Notwithstanding his God given gift of showing compassion to others, deep inside he was challenged by addiction. Bravely, Richie took the steps necessary to overcome his dependency by successfully completing a rehabilitation program and was residing in a recovery home; where he continued to work on his sobriety until his sudden death.

Treasured and adored, Richie will be missed everyday by his Father, Richard Edward Burton, Sr., Mother, Rosemary Burton, Sisters, Ondréa Burton and Jennifer Allen, Brother, Chaz Parham, Son, Aaron Barlow, Neice, Avani Burton, and his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great friends.

We LOVE and MISS you so much. Rest your beautiful soul. Welcoming you with open, loving wings, enjoy reuniting with Pap Pap and Grandma, Aunties, Uncles and Cousins, knowing that the joy and laugher you brought will live on. You’re loved here on earth as well as in heaven. Be at peace, and keep smiling, sweetheart. Richie will be laid to rest in the Sewickley Cemetery.

Joseph Starks

Joseph Fielding Smith Starks, 56 passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2019. Joseph was born on May 13, 1962, to the late Grady Willis Starks and Mary Lois McBride Starks in Eau Galle Mason FL.

Joseph is preceded in death by Brothers: Glenn and Norman Starks. Sister: Mary Starks. 3 Nephew and 7 Nieces.

Joseph leaves to cherries his memories Brother: Luther Starks. Sisters: Jenny Garcia and Carol Starks. Devoted friend Barb Bishop and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joseph will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Joseph will be laid to rest in Arizona with his family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13th from 3 pm to 6 pm followed by a Home Going Service at Washington Funeral Home & Cremations 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA Regina Washington Supervisor.
