On May 16, 2023 our beloved Terry “Jug” Hubbard transitioned to be with the Lord. Terry was born on November 21, 1954 in Rochester, Pa. to Dr. Richard R. Hubbard Sr. and Christine Taylor Hubbard.
Terry attended Rochester Area High School where he graduated in 1972. He then attended Bishop College in Marshall, Texas. Terry also attended Geneva College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was a proud member of the men’s basketball teams at both colleges.
Later, Terry was employed by Babcock and Wilcox. Following this he was employed by Brighton Youth Center, Lutheran Youth and Family Center and US Airways. He also worked in security for several agencies.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of forty-one years, Annette Townsell Hubbard, son, Terry Hubbard Jr. (Christie); daughter, Tiffany Hubbard Slappy (Rodney); grandchildren, Trinity Hubbard, Rodney Slappy III, Elijah Slappy, and Sarai Slappy; brother, Richard Hubbard Jr. (Barbara); sister, Kimberly Hubbard; brother-in-laws, Robert Townsell and Chris Townsell (Di’Anna); nephews, Richard Hubbard III (Shirley), Spencer Hauser, James Stewart and Chris Townsell Jr.; nieces, Kellyn Hubbard and Alacia Reeves; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Washington Funeral Home and Cremation located at 1411 Sixth Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa. 15010 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 5:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Second Baptist Church located at Clay and Irvin Avenue, Rochester, Pa. 15074. Viewing at 10:00 am with service to follow at 12 noon.
