Edward Williams 90 went into the resting arms of God January 2, 2020. Edward was born July 19, 1929 to the late Essex and Mary (Milton) Williams.
Edward was a lifetime resident in Beaver Falls. He was a Deacon at Second Baptist Church for many years and an Elder of Lifeway Christian Fellowship, both in Beaver Falls, PA. He was an electrician at Babcock & Wilcox’s, a Veteran of Korean War, and one of the co-founders of T.R.A.I.L.S Ministries along side of his son, Rev. Edward E.Williams. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a dedicated Christian for our Lord and would spread the word to all he touched. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his kindness, love and gentle spirit.
Edward is proceeded in death by his wife Josephine Williams, mother Mary Milton Williams, father Essex Williams, sister Mary Lee Williams-Stinson, nephews Edward Powell, Darryl Cobb, and Michael Gist, sister and brother-in-laws Charles and Sarah Gilbert, father and mother-in law Harry and Ruth Pipkin, brother-in-laws Harry Pipkin, Hal Pipkin, and Billie Gist cousins Leonard, Clarence, Charles James, Joe and Albert Williams.
Edward is survived by his daughter Dianna Williams of Beaver Falls, son Edward Eugene and daughter-in-law Valarie Williams of Thomasville, NC grand and great grand daughter Carmen and Gia Williams, eldest grandson Marcess Edward Williams, grandsons Edward Eugene. Jr and Evan Derrell Williams, cousin Earl & Vickie Williams, sister-in-law’s Gloria Jackson, Anna Mae Brown, Lucille Gist, brother-in-laws Robert Pipkin, Charles Pipkin, Henry Jackson, and nieces and nephews Antoinette (Desmond) Wiley Robert(Bunny) Stinson close friends Earl Tucker, Will Vason, The Cousar Family, and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements will be conducted by Washington Funeral Home 1411 6th Avenue Beaver Falls, PA , Regina Washington, Supervisor. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 and Thursday January 9, 2020 from 10-11 am followed by the Home-going service at 11am with the Reverend E. Eugene Williams, Sr.
