Theodis R. Badgett Jr.
Theodis R. Badgett Jr., age 69 of Beaver Falls, PA. was called home to Heaven on Saturday April 8, 2023. Affectionally known as Theo to family and friends, he was born on May 5, 1953, in Reidsville NC; to the late Theodis Badgett Sr. and Pattie Badgett.
After graduating from High School in 1973, Theo joined the United States Army where he attained the rank of Sergeant First Class as a Maintenance Mechanic and was also a World Class Heavy Weight Boxer. In 1994, after 21 years of service in the armed services, Theo retired and began a career at the United States Postal Service (USPS). During his 21 years there, he married his wife Linda, and became an exemplary Postmaster and managed offices in Beaver, Butler, and Allegheny counties until his retirement in 2018. In retirement Theo enjoyed going to casinos, fishing, refurbishing vintage cars, cooking, dancing, and home improvements. By far, his greatest past time was spending time with his loving wife, Linda Badgett of 22 years and his family and friends.
Theo will be forever remembered for his selfless acts of kindness, courage, laughter, and joy. He was a man renowned for his resourcefulness and strength through love. For so many, he was a keystone and pillar of support. He was absolutely loved and will be dearly missed.
Theo is preceded in death by his father and mother, Theodis Badgett Sr., and Pattie Badgett. Brothers Bobby Withers, Joe Badgett, and Wallace Badgett.
