Ebony Yolanda Harris

After a courageous battle with diabetes, our beloved Ebony Yolanda Harris, 35, completed her earthly journey to find refuge in the everlasting arms of Christ on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Heritage Valley Beaver, PA.

Ebony was a vibrant, jovial, carefree spirit and a lifelong resident of Beaver Falls, PA. Professionally, Ebony was employed by various local agencies in the healthcare field. Her interests included travel, shopping, hitting up the casino, and she always took great pleasure in making sure her hair and nails were on point. Without fail, her infectious laughter and sense of humor would put a smile on your face. Her one-of-a-kind personality illuminated any room she entered. Ebony will truly be missed for the abundance of joy she brought to us by her mere presence.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Jacqueline Joyce Bryant, grandparents, Columbus and Rosa Mae Bryant, and uncle Ronald Bryant.

She is survived by her precious children, Di’Nari Harris, Da’Rae Harris and Demond Harris, who meant the world to her. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Maurice Harris (Lori), father, Glenn Ford, sister, April Armstead, aunts, Lena Favors (Aunt NeNe), Mamie Bryant-Jones (Edward), Vanessa Taylor (Robert), and uncles, Damon Bryant and Rufus (Patty) Ford. She will also truly be missed by her niece Nevaeh Harris, nephews, Maurice Harris II & Keenan Harris, as well as a host of cousins and friends. Also, her godmother Barbara (Thompson) Taylor and her dear cousin, LaToshia Murry, who affectionately called her “Pig.”

The family would like to recognize and thank The Grove at Harmony for their enduring care and support.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 12:00pm-2:00pm, with the homegoing service beginning at 2:00pm at Washington Funeral Home & Cremations, 1411 6th Avenue Beaver Falls, PA.

Tonette Machelle (Singleton) Thompson

Tonette Machelle (Singleton) Thompson, affectionately known as Toni, was born on December 19, 1962, to Freddie Marie Gaston Singleton and the late Richard Singleton of Beaver Falls, PA. She transitioned peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ on November 22, 2021, at her home with her mother Freddie and sister Janette by her side.

Toni graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1981, and from there, she went to the Airline School of Trade in Kissimmee, FL. She returned home and worked at Temporary jobs until hired by Westinghouse Electric located in Green Tree, PA. There – she was employed for thirteen plus years before relocating to Long Beach, CA, with her sister Janette Childs.

Toni’s love for the Lord and the Church started at the tender age of four. One Sunday, Pastor John Davis was giving out “pray hours” for the noonday pray time, and when he finished, Toni stood up and said most politely, “ You didn’t give me one” he smiled down at her and replied, “ You can pray with your mother, on her hour!” She clapped her tiny little hands together, smiled, and said, “Thank you.” Every day thereafter, at 10 o’clock, she would say, “It’s time to pray, Mommie, and she did this until she started school.
In addition to going to church, Toni also enjoyed sports (especially football), movies, theater, slots at the casino, concerts, shopping, eating out with family, and just being with her children.

In addition to her father, Toni was preceded in death by two brothers and her aunt, Gregory L Singleton, Maurice J. Singleton, and Idella L. Harris.

Missing and cherishing her with sweet memories are her two children: Tamera Marie (Phillip) Franks, Pittsburg Pa, Terrance Lavon Thompson, New Brighton, Mother: Freddie M Singleton, Long Beach Ca, One Sister: Janette ( Ted ) Child’s, Long Beach Ca, one brother: Richard L Singleton, Long Beach, three aunts: Exia B Duke, St Antonio Texas, Mary Ann (Bill)Higgins Beaver Fall Pa, Trenece Singleton, Hampton Virginia, two uncles: Abner Gaston, San Diego Ca, and Andrew Singleton, Hampton Virginia, and five nieces nephews: Richard, Shianna,Maurice, Kiara, Cory Singleton all from Beaver Fall Pa. and host of great-nieces, and great- nephews, cousins, and friends. Toni was a member of Full Life Deliverance MIS. Under The Leadership Of Bishop Peter And Pastor Myrna Hallenbeck and Pastor Norval Lyle

Visitation is scheduled at Washington Funeral Home for Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 5pm – 7pm, and on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM, Home Going Service
