Elouise Scott Beauford

Elouise Scott Beauford entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:40pm in her home. Elouise Scott Beauford was born to the late John and Lula Walker Scott on August 23, 1923 in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia.

Elouise was a graduate of the Screven High School. She became a member of the Leeks Chapel A.M.E Church in Screven County at an early age. On January 3, 1946, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Harvey Beauford who preceded her in death in 1984. After moving to Beaver Falls, in 1948, Elouise joined the Second Baptist Church family of Rochester, PA where she was a faithfully member serving on the Usher Board and the Kitchen committee. In 1992, she retired from Strayer Coin Bag Company where she worked for many years as a sewing machine operator.

In addition to her Husband and Parents, she is preceded in death by Sisters: Carrie Bell Sapp, Adelle Bryant, Naomi Scantling, Margaret Warnock and Mary McCorkle. Brothers: Willie Scott and Henry Scott.

Elouise leaves to cherish her memories, Daughter: Edith Charlene (Lawrence Edward) Blackwell, Rochester, PA. Grandchildren: Eric Michael Beauford, Edward Jerome Blackwell and Tiffany Brianne Blackwell, all of Rochester, PA. Great-Granddaughters: Mya Michelle Beauford, New Brighton, PA and Maliya Jade Kamzelski, Baden, PA. Brother-in-law, Elder Clinton Beauford, Pittsburgh, PA. Sister-in-law, Dorothy Cameron, Aliquippa, PA. Host of very special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her oldest and dearest friend, Sadie Carter, Atlanta, GA and Judith Ryan, Beaver Falls, PA. The Family would also, like to give special thanks to Gallager Hospice for all the loving care given to their mother in such a difficult time.

Service to be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm followed by a Homegoing Celebration at Washington Funeral Home & Cremations 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA. Pastor Brian Crawl, Second Baptist Rochester & Bobby Wilson Light of Salvation Church PA officiating.

Rosemary Snedeker

Rosemary Snedeker, 75 of Darlington died unexpectedly February 13, 2021 at AGH in Pittsburgh surrounded by her family she was born on December 24, 1945 to the late Joseph and Helen Tabay.

She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Snedeker, JR and a brother Edmond Tabay.

She is survived by daughters Jeannette Powell of Inverness, FL and Kim Snedeker of Beaver Falls; son James E. (Duce)Snedeker, III of Darlington; grandchildren Donny, James, John, Katrina, Kris, Alexia, JC, Krystelle and Taylor; great grandchildren Dakyah, Wyatt, Koberly, Cecile and Kaeleidh; and a dear friend Eydie Swingle.

Due to the Covid 19 there will be no service. Rosemary will be laid to rest in the Grandview Cemetery Big Beaver, Pa. and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arnell “Alford” Bryant

Arnell (Alford) Bryant, 90 years old quietly passed away on January 24, 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver Good Samaritan Hospice Care, on the same exact day (27 years ago) when her late husband Calvin Bryant passed. Arnell was born on October 12, 1930 to the late Clifford and Mary Lee (Coleman) Alford.

Arnell was a Devoted Jehovah’s Witness; she absolutely loved spreading the Good News of Jehovah’s Kingdom; her dedication to Jehovah and his son Christ Jesus was unwavering. Arnell cherished her family; she loved cooking for them and sharing Jehovah’s goodness. She will truly be missed by her Jehovah’s Witness family and love ones.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Son: Calvin Bryant Jr., Grandson: Raymond Bryant and Granddaughter: Monique Nicole Bryant, Three Brothers: Jeff Alford, Thomas (TC) Alford and David T. Alford. And two Sisters: Lela Coogler and Stella McMillion.
She is survived by Daughter: Beatrice Nell Bryant, Ambridge, PA. Sons: Victor (Mahasin) Bryant, Prince George, VA. and Timothy (Ann) Bryant, Wilmington, DE. 7 Grandchildren. 7 Great-Grandchildren. Sister: Delores White. Brother: Linwood Alford and Daughter-in-law: Beverly Bryant. A host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Service to be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, 1:00 Service Due to Covid 19 the service will be Private( Family only) at Washington Funeral Home & Cremations 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA

Jerry Helisek Sr.

Jerry “Yeto” Helisek, from Beaver Falls, PA passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 88. His battle with cancer and coronavirus showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Yeto came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Yeto was an US Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War and retired after more than 5 decades in the United State Post Office. He was a sports fan, baseball coach, member of the bowling hall of fame and an avid golfer.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Norma and survived by his son Jerry, daughter-in-law Dana, two great fur babies, Gozer and Mia, as well as stepchildren Theodore, Diana, Darla, and multiple grandchildren.

Jerry will be laid to rest in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A small memorial will be scheduled in the future for family and friends.

Judith Ann “McFadden” Oravitz

In loving memory of Judith Ann (McFadden) Oravitz, born February 5, 1940. She passed away peacefully on February 5, 2021; “her 81st birthday” surrounded by her loving family. While her loving husband, children and grandchildren came together to celebrate her birthday our Precious Lord took her hand ever so gently and took her home. She was born to the late William and Lois McFadden in Beaver Falls, Pa.

Judy loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also, enjoyed playing bingo. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years of marriage Ronald (Ron) Oravitz. Daughters Sherri (Bruce) Garmen and Piddles (Cab) Becker. Sons: Ronald “Bo” (Ann) Oravitz, Woody (Julie) Oravitz and Charlie Oravitz. 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren. Sister: Bonnie McFadden, Sister-in-law: Mary Lou Oravitz and Marlene McFadden. Host of nieces’ nephews’ cousins, relatives and bingo buddies.

Due to the Covid 19 virus the family is not able to celebrate Judy’s life in a traditional fashion and would like to express their thanks for all the love and overwhelming support during this trying time. They are sincerely grateful.

Judy will be laid to rest in the Catholic Parish Cemetery, Beaver Falls, PA

Rance L. “Butler” Waldron

On Friday February 5, 2021, Rance L.”Butler” Waldron loving husband, father, and friend left this life to go to his eternal home to be with our Lord and Savior.

Rance (Butler) was born on April 18, 1952 in Philadelphia PA to Robert and Dorothy Board Waldron. He was a dedicated employee at Norfolk Southern for 28 ½ years and also ran his own lawn care business.

On October 5, 1985 Rance joined in Holy Matrimony with the love of his life Eunice Sheffey Waldron. Butler, as known throughout Beaver County was known to be a loving, kind and a generous man. He was willing to help anyone at any time. He was a proud member of the Men of Worship Community Choir and the Second Baptist male chorus. He had a passion for sports and was a true die-hard Steelers Fan. You could also, find Butler on the nearest golf course. Butler was a man that loved God and his family.

Butler was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dorothy Board Waldron; a brother Payton Waldron; two sisters Mitzi Taylor (Bill), and Gertrude Evans; and his grandson Mark Waldron.

He is survived by his wife Eunice Waldron; his daughter Marika Waldron; a brother Robert (Grizz) Waldron (Jeri); a grandson Corey Jefferson; six great grandchildren and a host of loving family members and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Washington Funeral Home & Cremation. Family and friends will be received at Second Baptist Church, 2322 10th Avenue, Beaver Falls PA on Wednesday February 10th from 5p-8p. Although the funeral is private it will be live streamed on Washington Funeral Home & Cremations Facebook. Reverend Bernard Tench officiating.
