Sylvia Easton-Jones

Sylvia Easton-Jones, 65, of Midland, Pa, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2020.

Sylvia was born in Rochester, PA to James and Margaret Easton on October 3, 1954. She was a graduate of New Brighton High School. She worked as a Bookkeeper and Car salesperson for many years.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents James and Margaret Easton, brother Jerry Easton and niece Sharece Easton.

Sylvia is survived by her son Brandon Warren Bynum, brothers: Jerome, James Jr., Andre, Andrew sister-in-law (Joyce Easton). Sister: Saundre (Keith) Easton-Fletcher , along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The memorial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Beaver Cemetery, lot #14 at the grave site of James and Margaret Easton with Pastor Saundre Easton-Fletcher officiating.

Charles “Mike” Jones

Charles ‘Mike’ Jones was called to rest with the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Heritage Valley Hospital. He was the fourth of ten children born on October 25, 1944, to the late Clarence and Norma (Wahl) Jones and was raised on Mt. Washington in Beaver Falls, Pa.

During his teenage years, Mike Jones was an amateur boxer and runner up for the Golden Gloves. He loved old westerns, cowboy boots, hats and painting. His love of residential painting lasted throughout his lifetime as his chosen career. Mike Jones adored his family! They were his pride and joy.

Mike is survived by five sisters, Marcia (Willie) Brooks, Lexington, Ky., Linda Beverly, Columbus, Ohio, Wanda Jones, Youngstown, Ohio, Leslie Dawson, Youngstown, Ohio and Marjorie “Charlene” Samuel, Beaver Falls, Pa.; one brother, Thomas Jones, Beaver Falls, Pa.; three sons, Charles “Mick (Regina) Jones, Beaver Falls, Pa., Kevin (Amy) Jones, Erie, Pa. and Mark (Errika) Jones, Pittsburgh, Pa.; one daughter, Tiffany Simmons, Monroeville, Pa.; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews and close friend, Bertha Creach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald, Clarence and Darrell Jones.

Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Second Baptist Church, 2322 10th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020, with the funeral immediately following.

Doris Smith

Doris Smith, 79, passed away August 2, 2020 in the Providence Health Care Center surround by family, Beaver Falls, PA. She was born in Beaver Falls, PA, on November 26,1940; to the late Evans Dreher and Sadie (Clark) Parker.

Doris was a great Hostess who loved decorating and entertaining family and friends. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother who was very dedicated to her family. Doris belonged to the Elite Club organization and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midland, and was a retiree of Westinghouse, PA. For enjoyment she played bingo, casino, enjoyed traveling, shopping and sports, but most of all her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all whom knew her.

Doris was preceded in death by her Father: Evans Dreher, Mother: Sadie (Clark) Parker, and Brother: Evan Cordie Dreher, Jr.

Doris is survived by her husband: Robert Smith, Daughters: Tonya Glenn, New Brighton, PA; Carla Glenn, Aliquippa, PA; Rolanda Smith, Charlotte, NC; Sisters: Rose Dreher Lawson, Charlotte, NC; Diane Harris, Buffalo, New York; Grand-children: Tiaira Glenn, New Brighton, PA; Tevin Tisdale, New Brighton, PA; Robert Glenn, East Liverpool, OH; Kairi Harris, Pittsburgh, PA; Cierra Harris, Beaver Falls, PA; Jaquez Harris, Charlotte, NC; India Harris, Charlotte, NC; Kyle Goosby, Charlotte, NC; Kalia Goosby, Charlotte, NC; and 12 Great-grandchildren.; Aunt: Melva Jean Clark, Beaver Falls, PA. Devoted Friends, Judy, Ryan, Rosetta Slappy, and Host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
