Henrietta Elizabeth Freeman Springs

Henrietta Elizabeth Freeman Springs 81, born August 8, 1937, formally of New Brighton went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior, Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles & Annette Freeman and three sisters, Anita Freeman, Thelma Matthews and Mary Virginia Thomas.

Leaving behind a long history of service through the American Red Cross, she leaves to cherish her memory, survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Willie A. Springs, Beaver Falls, Pa., her sons, Lemont (Renita) Johnson,
Chattanooga, Tennessee, daughter Avis (James) Curenton, Beaver Falls, Pa., son, Rory (Angie) Springs, Goldsboro, North Carolina, three grandsons and two granddaughters, Lemonte ( Shayla) Johnson, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Nicole (James) Burton, Rochester, Pa., Justin (Somia) Curenton, Beaver Falls, Pa., Rory Springs Jr. and Anicia Springs, Goldsboro, North Carolina, six great grandchildren, Devin, Kamara, Loay, Melody, Jordyan, Remington, two God-children, Robin Goosby, Erika Thomas, a special friend Betty Jane Hudson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Nursing Care Center, Beaver Falls, Pa.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, from 11 to 3 p.m. in the Washington Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1411 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 Washington-funerals.com
The homegoing service will be immediately after the viewing with Pastor Mary Burton officiating Monday, February 18, 2019.

Mark Anthony “Ice” Whittington

Mark Anthony “Ice” Whittington, 60, slipped out of time on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, after a long illness at Heritage Valley Medical Center, Beaver, Pa. Born April 29, 1958, in Beaver Falls, Pa., to the late Helen Louise Whittington and Herbert McDaniel, and stepfather Raymond Garfield Whittington.
Mark was a life-long resident and high school graduate of Rochester, Pa. He was a devoted employee of Ashland Oil (Valvoline) in Freedom for the past 30 years. Mark truly loved his family and friends. He was also a devoted Steelers fan.
Surviving to his memory are his children, Anthony Whittington and Maggie Whittington; devoted girlfriend, Heather Vrutneski; sister, Vallerie Whittington Beauford; aunt, Edna Christian; nieces, Jada Whittington (Jeffery) Butler and Melessie Whittington; nephews, Antoine (Sabrina) Whittington and Terral Whittington; devoted cousin, Michael Sallie, (Michael and Mark were like brothers) and a host of other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the WASHINGTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, 1411 6TH Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa., Regina Washington, Supervisor. Viewing will also be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 11 a.m. followed by a 12 p.m. home going service. Reverend Melanie Sallie Dosunmu officiating.
Mark will be laid to rest in the Beaver Falls Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Washington Funeral Home & Cremations.
